Moses Ma ... is a remarkable business visionary who has been praised in Time Magazine, the New York Times and many other publications.  He has enjoyed a rich and diverse professional life spanning academia, science, technology, philosophy and business at the forefront of many exciting technologies.  

A legendary game designer who created two of the world’s best selling computer games, including SpectreVR, which literally invented the category of networked games, he built an uncapitalized software startup into the 97th largest, 7th fastest growing, and 11th most profitable in the country.  He also co-developed with IBM the first specification for universal identity on the Internet, and at the CommerceNet thinktank he invented the concept of eMarkets and helped to establish the foundational guidelines for the semantic Web. He is also an innovation consultant who has helped companies to increase innovativeness and creativity.


Langdon Morris ... is one of the world's leading thinkers, writers, and consultants in innovation.  Working around the world with a fascinating variety of clients, from UNICEF to Total Oil, France Telecom, Bayer, Gemalto, and many others, Langdon helps these organizations implement world-leading innovation systems.  

Formerly Senior Practice Scholar at the Ackoff Center of the Univeristy of Pennsylvania, he has taught strategy at universities in Europe and South America.  His recent innovation books The Innovation Master Plan and Permanent Innovation are two of the most widely read innovation titles of the last five years.


Dr. Po Chi Wu ... is an Adjunct Professor with joint appointments in the School of Business and Management and the School of Business at the Hong Kong  University of Science & Technology.  A highly successful international venture capitalist and entrepreneur, he has lived and worked both in the United States and in Asia, and brings a unique perspective and the rich context of more than 30 years of experience and insight into the challenges of innovation and entrepreneurship. Co-founder and Managing Director of DragonBridge Capital, an investment advisory firm that focused on early-stage technology-focused companies in China, he was also co-founder and President of Allegro Capital in Silicon Valley.  He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.  His family includes several generations of illustrious scholars – his great grand-father was a Hanlin Scholar in the Ching Dynasty, his father retired from the Presidency of the Academia Sinica in Taiwan at the age of 88, and was known as “The Father of Modern Physics in China.”


Doug Glen ... is a serial entrepreneur whose ventures range from information technology to high tech entertainment. For the past several years, he has been a hands-on founding investor in a number of Hong Kong based startups, including consumer robotics, mobile games, finance technology and high performance data storage.

Previously, Doug was CEO of Imagi Studios, Chief Strategy Officer of Mattel Toys, General Manager of LucasArts Entertainment, and Group Vice President of Sega of America. As a business strategist, he combines the perspectives of an MIT engineer, a Northern California venture capitalist, and a consumer product innovator.


Jerome Conlon ... has 30 years brand development experience, including twenty in the brand strategy hot seat of high profile, world class brands. He is a brand architect and a senior marketing executive who has unleashed triple-digit growth at a number of major brands, expanding their meaning, relevance and resonance to wider circles of consumers.

He is former Director of Brand Planning and Marketing Insights for Nike, Inc., Vice President of Brand Planning, Consumer Insights and New Products for Starbucks Coffee Company, Senior VP of Marketing and Program Development for NBC Entertainment, and has been a professor of economics.


Dr. Steve Markman... has over 48 years in high technology product development and product marketing working for internationally recognized companies in the defense; telecommunications; networking; network management; security; applications; voice service provider; and Innovation businesses.

He is the former CEO of General Magic Inc., Executive VP of Products at Avaya, Inc., CEO of DB Best Technologies, Executive VP of Products at Novell, Inc., General Manager of Hewlett Packard, Inc. and Division Manager at AT&T Communications, Inc. and AT&T Bell Laboratories, Inc.  


 


Dr. Dan Greening ... has been a founder, CEO and CTO in a variety of startups and public companies, including BigTribe, LikeMinds, Andromedia, and Macromedia. He led the Hawaii International Conference on System Science Agile/Lean track, with Jeff Sutherland and John Tripp. The track invites research papers on agile and lean practices, particularly those that provide quantitative answers to practical questions and problems. He led agile coaching at Skype in 2012 and 2013. Dan is former Director of the Agile Program Office and User Experience at Citrix Online from 2008 to 2012.  He developed the Enterprise Scrum process used in Citrix Online, now formalized in Scrum@Scale. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA.


Tony Kobine ... is an application designer, developer and software entrepreneur. He founded FCMC plc, a UK software company that brought Finar, Fingroup and Staffware to market. Staffware is recognized as the first commercially available office automation software. FCMC subsequently went public on the London Stock Exchange as Staffware plc and later acquired by TIBCO Software Inc. Staffware now forms the core of TIBCO’s Business Process Improvement software range. Tony then went on, with Moses Ma, to design and implement software for the Juran Institute Quality Improvement Toolkit. Recently, Tony has been focusing on innovation in the Front Office of investment banks and asset managers, and has brought process improvements to traders, structurers, quants and asset managers at PIMCO, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Bank, Barclays Capital, HSBC, Merrill Lynch, AXA and Standard and Poor’s. His work on designing fund-of-funds to meet risk-return criteria earned an AXA UK Innovation Award. Tony holds Masters degrees in Pure Mathematics and Psychology.


Dr. Randy K. Sugawara ... is a psychologist with a broad and extensive background in training, personal development and innovation theory. He has produced a rich portfolio of multimedia computer interactive game products, creative storytelling video templates for autistic students, and designed brainstorming courses for product design teams. He holds a Ph.D. in organizational development and Master’s Degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis on organization development. 


Claire Rumore ... is a gifted facilitator and ethnographic researcher who combines her academic background in the social sciences and her training in somatic psychotherapy, with a background in Agile project management and business creativity to deliver an innovative, interpersonal learning experience. Her expertise is based on a multi-disciplinary approach to ethnography, design, training, and software development that leverages her training in Agile project management (certified Scrum master), group graphics (facilitation training from the the Drexler/Sibbet organization), innovation resource management, software development and marketing, integral theory, and Buddhist philosophy.


Dr. Scott Minneman ... is an Interaction Design professor within the three-pronged (Graphic Design, ID, & IxD) Graduate Design program that prepares students for practicing User Experience, Design Research, Interaction Design and other roles in the burgeoning design field. Primary teaching focus is on the studio and thesis track, with course offerings that apply their design skills to real-world problems, working with actual stakeholders in the community, and speculative design. Students learn and apply skills in screen design, branding, human-computer interaction, physical computing, prototyping, user studies, business analysis, and more 


Paolo Petronio ... is an enthusiastic senior consultant and entrepreneur, with 35 years of broad business experience in a diverse set of disciplines, including Alternative Finance, M&A, Strategy, Innovation, Marketing, and Business Development. A team leader with the capacity to honor a holistic 360° approach to client needs, from strategic consulting (using the RE- Real Evolution Matrix) to related problem solving/competitive advantage/action planning capabilities. In the last 20 years, his focus has been on discovering and exploring new leadership/management approaches, evolutionary and revolutionary business tools, cutting edge technologies, and emergent processes that drive true partnership and leadership.


Kasper de Rijke ... has more than 25 years experience in the financial services sector, as an Agile leader he is working in complex financial environments, aligning business and IT. Thanks to his analytical skills combined with his results orientation, he is able to resolve complex deadlock situations and to provide alternative innovative solutions, as a pragmatic organizer and creative team player with both technical and business insight. He has worked for leading financial institutions in the Netherlands like ABN AMRO, Rabobank, Dutch Central Bank and Achmea, combining creative agile leadership with matured strategic insight and innovative creative product- and process improvement skills. He holds a degree of economics.
